The Association would like members from all clubs to come to the season ending Presentation Evening. However, this is never the case.

In order to generate more interest in Presentation Evening, the association is looking into the possibility of doing something a bit different this season.

One possibility would be to have a professional or ex-professional such as Willie Thorne or Dennis Taylor to come and present the trophies to all the winners, as well as doing some speaking and even possibly playing a few frames of snooker against the competition winners (EJ Riley Singles & Fred Cowell).

If the Association were to do this, tickets would of course be chargeable.

Hi Steve
I guess that those individual who have won something will be turning up.
(The rest of us are obviously feeling resentful, and won't bother ;-)

However, I would pay £5 to see a professional play a frame of snooker, perform a few trick shots, or demonstrate ways to improve your game.
I can't say that I would be too interested in simply seeing them present the prizes.

We'll be looking into this for next season now. Not quite sure what we are doing this season as yet.
